1. Purpose and license
ContactSift is an iPhone utility that lets you review contacts, keep selected contacts, prepare other contacts for deletion, and confirm deletion through Apple Contacts. Subject to these terms and Apple’s applicable rules, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the app.
2. Your responsibility before deletion
You are responsible for reviewing the deletion list before confirming it. A contact is not deleted merely because you swipe left; deletion occurs only after you review the list and explicitly confirm the final action.
Confirmed contact deletion may be permanent and may also affect contacts synchronized through services configured on your device. Keep a suitable backup of your address book before deleting contacts when you may need to recover them.
3. Lifetime purchase
ContactSift Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. ContactSift does not offer a subscription. Purchase and restore operations are managed through your Apple Account and the App Store. Refund eligibility and processing are governed by Apple’s policies.
4. Acceptable use
You may not misuse ContactSift, attempt to disrupt or bypass its security, use it to violate another person’s rights, reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits, or use it in violation of law or Apple’s platform rules.
5. Service changes
ContactSift may be updated, changed, or discontinued as the product, operating system, legal requirements, or technical conditions evolve. No promise is made that every feature will remain available indefinitely or work with every future device or iOS version.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
ContactSift is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. You remain responsible for the contacts you choose to delete and for maintaining any backup you need. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ContactSift’s owner is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Apple terms
Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, the applicable Apple terms control.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect product or legal changes. The effective date will be revised when updated terms are published.
