Quick guidance for contact access, purchases, and reviewing contacts safely.
Protect your contact data
When you email support, do not include real contact names, phone numbers, photos, or exported address-book files.
Allow or change Contacts access
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Open Apps, then choose ContactSift.
- Select Contacts and choose the access level you want to allow.
- Return to ContactSift and try again.
Restore your Lifetime purchase
- Confirm the iPhone uses the Apple Account that made the purchase.
- Open ContactSift’s purchase screen.
- Choose Restore Purchases.
Purchases and restoration are handled by Apple. ContactSift does not access your payment details.
Remove someone from the deletion list
Open Review Deletions, find the contact, and use the remove control beside that row. The person is moved back to the kept contacts and will not be included in the pending deletion.
What happens before deletion?
A left swipe only marks a contact for review. ContactSift shows the complete deletion list first. You can remove candidates, then open a separate confirmation step before any Contacts record is deleted.
Can a confirmed deletion be undone?
A confirmed deletion may not be reversible and may affect contacts synchronized through services configured on your iPhone. Review every candidate carefully and keep an appropriate backup when you may need to recover contacts.
ContactSift processes contact details on your device and does not send names, phone numbers, or photos to a server.
